Family privacy, in plain English

HoneyBeacon helps you spend time away from distracting apps. A family member called the Beekeeper can invite you to a Family Hive and use the supervision tools you agree to, or that your parent or legal guardian arranges where appropriate.
Before joining, check who invited you. People in your group may see your chosen name, picture, shared progress and whether you have accepted or joined a session. They cannot use HoneyBeacon to read your messages or browse your photo library. The app does not provide them with a GPS map of your movements.
Group photos are stored privately and shown to authorised members with short-lived links. Prefer an illustration instead of a face photo for children. Do not upload a photo of someone else without their permission and any required parental authority. A shared or cached copy of a photo link may outlive a later change or removal.
A Beekeeper is not automatically your parent or legal guardian. Adults must not use the app to control other adults without their agreement. If someone is misusing the app, contact hello@honeybeacon.app. Ask a trusted adult for help if you feel unsafe.
The updated launch app has no AI-generated text, advertising tracking or screen recordings. Setup answers are kept on your phone unless an adult separately opts to share their own answers for research. You do not need to share research answers to use HoneyBeacon.
You have rights over your information. You can contact HONEYBEACON LIMITED at hello@honeybeacon.app, or use Settings → Cloud backup → Delete account for a cloud account. Your rights do not disappear because someone else is the Beekeeper. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription or clear all information already on your phone.
